What comes together is a really nice collage of ideas, influences and styles, using humour and emotion to to bring together very disparate hand-drawn animated styles into a singular vision, shaped by the people of Norwich and beyond.
Cancer Community Links
- Charity explainer
We teamed up with Cancer Community Links to create the story of Nigel, a man who is dealing with the effects of cancer. Through textured and characterful motion graphics, we follow him across his healing journey as he's helped by a CCL employee.
DESIGN
One of our first forrays into mixed-media, CCL is a film where characters were given real textures to help the film and it's characters stand out and create a more emotional connection. We found most textures online from public access libraries, but included a few textures around the office, that we felt matched the characters. The final product is something both us and CCL are really happy with, and the experiment with texture paid off in making a more personal film.
