What comes together is a really nice collage of ideas, influences and styles, using humour and emotion to to bring together very disparate hand-drawn animated styles into a singular vision, shaped by the people of Norwich and beyond.
Hypi
- Animated Explainer
A dynamic explainer video for an upcoming app that allows you to turn anything into a QR code. We really enjoyed creating a bright, colourful and fluid short teaser for this app, putting the fun in Hypi’s central concept to the forefront to showcase all of its potential uses in our world.
DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
The most immediate things that stand out are the bright colour schemes and the fluid transitions. We revelled in working with the colours which was a nice contrast to our more natural-looking work. As for the transitions, we worked on giving our motion graphics (which can often be more shape and text based, unlike the character-focused hand-drawn work) a fluidity of its own, bridging the gap between our two main workflows in a way that we’ve carried through to future projects.
