2025 has finally come to a close and here at Mustard we’ve been having a frosty break filled with delicious christmas food. However, we are now back in the office ready to start the new year. With that being said, I wanted to have a brief look back at what has happened for the Mustard team in the past year.

1 - Agency work

In 2025, the company worked with more agencies than ever before. This is a huge step for us, as it has been a goal for a while. Having good relations with agencies has great benefits, it gives us more financial security but also frees up some of our time, usually spent finding new clients, and allows us to focus on clients or produce something for ourselves (for example, our christmas animation).

2 - RTS award

We won an award this year, I won’t say loads about this here as we have a blog all about it [Read that blog here] but it was nice to have acknowledgement for our work. Especially for a client that we love working with and a visual style that we have thought long and hard about.

3 - Moho

We finally pulled the trigger and started working with the software Moho. For a while now, the company has been thinking about how to move toward serialised animation and we know that this would take an overhaul in how we work. We knew that After Effects wouldn’t be the most efficient and that TVpaint (as much as we love it) would be too expensive in the long run.

We eventually landed on Moho as it was relatively affordable and maintains a lot of what we love about animation.

We used it in a few recent projects and our Christmas animation, and it’s been great fun. I will personally be looking forward to what the team can create using it in the next year.
