Cut the Mustard was on the 'Bonkers About Beach Huts' podcast!

Some quite random Monday morning news - as animators on over a dozen films about beach huts, we'd like to think we've become quite knowledgeable in the area. As such, Natalie from the podcast Bonkers About Beach Huts reached out to us, about starring in an episode.

Initially a little skeptical (after all, we just animate huts) it became clear that the podcast uses Beach Huts as a window into all sorts of people's lives and creative practices, from writers to architechs to, well, us!

In the episode, Liam dives into our story as a studio, how we formed, how we operate, and (of course) the work that goes into our beach hut films. Shaped by our wonderful client, I explored how we meet their briefs and shape a visual style and story to grab viewers' attention and create an emotional response that gets people invested in staying at the hut.
